An excerpt from the DSM-5 which presents the American Psychological Association‘s taxonomy for different kinds of anxiety, as well as each kind’s respective diagnostic features. Like the WebMD “Symptom Checker,” I’m convinced that this excerpt will cause you to be anxious that you, in fact, have an anxiety disorder. Welcome to the human race.

Normalous anthropos nervosa: presence, pervasive or infrequent, of any anxious or fearful or excited or angry or otherwise emotion-based action, tendency, thought, language, or facial expression – done, felt, or thought of, either consciously or subconsciously, purposeful or accidental for reasons based in unrealistic or realistic circumstances

    Raise awareness. Many more have this condition than understand it.
